(NHSS)

Are bespoke integrated management schemes that have been developed by the Highways Agency to make sure people working on motorways and other roads have a trained and competent workforce.

Sector Schemes are designed to:

• Provide a basis for continous improvement
• Focus on quality as an objective
• Reduce overall costs for the client and supplier
• Provide and maintain a property trained and competent workforce
• Promote confidence in quality management systems by provision of a robus, transparent system.

If you are working on the motorways and other roads then there may well be a scheme that applies to your activities.

As a supplier of such services you will need to comply with these requirements as well as ISO 9001.
